Subscription Concessions

The subscription cost will be reduced at the discretion of the Chairman and Treasurer. At present, we will reduce the subscription by 50% for those who provide details of registered unemployment and full time student status.

The concession is usually 50%, but individual situations can be considered further on request.

If finance is a barrier to participation, please contact us in confidence to ask for assistance. Use the CONTACT form or email the Treasurer using the address at the top of this page. The Chairman, Membership Secretary and Treasurer are the only committee members who will discuss or have any details relating to requests for reduced subscriptions.
If you are applying for a concession, please do not pay until you have made an agreement with the Treasurer.

Our termly fees are £45 but please do not stay away because of the cost, not everyone can afford it, but we want everyone to sing! See below for details of concessions.

The Wimbledon Community Chorus charges a subscription to meet all of our standard running costs. It is not profit making and a summary of spending and receipts will be available at each AGM. We will review our subscription costs annually against expenditure. The subscription may consequently go up or down a little in future, though our aim will always be to keep charges as low as possible.

We operate a cashless system for all transactions, unless it is impossible to do so. Therefore, we have two main payment options for the termly subscription:
